For Day 12, one of our past patients, Stephanie, wanted to share how her power wheelchair has increased her accessibility and social participation this Christmas Season! 

A Story of Joy

"I am exceptionally grateful for my power wheelchair- a life-changing tool that I was provided with help from the LimbTech team. My PWC transformed my daily life, enabling me to complete tasks beyond my bed, manage energy and pain, and attend important doctor appointments. My PWC empowers me to participate in my social life again, including festive Christmas activities! This year, I've enjoyed seeing Christmas lights, shopping for Christmas mugs, making gingerbread houses, and exploring new local restaurants with friends. It has also helped me check my mail for Christmas Cards. Without my PWC, these experiences would not have happened, as my manual wheelchair required assistance and worsened my conditions and symptoms. My PWC is more than a mobility aid; it's an indispensable part of my life, and for that, I'm profoundly thankful."

Our hearts feel warm knowing that we've been a part of the joy that our patients feel during the holidays, simply because they now have increased freedom and safety. Stephanie, thank you for sharing your story with us!
